Laidley is located 80KM to the west of Brisbane. In 2005 Pivit partnered with the local council in the delivery of wireless broadband services to Laidley and surrounding communities.

Until Pivit installed the Laidley Wireless Broadband network the area had limited access to broadband services. The Laidley Wireless Broadband network avoids the inherent limitations on the reach of DSL technologies.

Pivit's wireless network has meant local residents finally have access to Broadband and Voice over Internet Protocol (Broadband telephony) through Pivit's Laidley Wireless Broadband Network.
